Sweet Aleda’s is a gourmet cupcakery and sweet treat shop in Bemus Point, formerly known as Sweet Lolita’s and now operating out of a new location. The shop specializes in unique flavors of cupcakes, cookies, and other baked goods, alongside ice cream, candy by the pound, and dirty sodas.
It’s a fun stop for putting together a custom box of treats for a gathering, or just satisfying a craving after a day on the lake. The shop is also accessible by boat, making it an easy add-on to a day out on the water.

Bemus Point Inn Restaurant has been a favorite breakfast and brunch stop in the village for generations, and locals will absolutely tell you the same thing, get there hungry.
Their giant cinnamon rolls are legendary, and yes, the “sweetest buns in town” slogan has been around forever for a reason. One roll easily becomes a table decision.
Breakfast is served all day, which means you can roll in after a slow lake morning and still order your favorites.

Something BIG is coming to Chautauqua Lake for the 4th of July!
We’re excited to officially announce a special America 250 collaboration between Visit Bemus Point and the Village of Mayville for Saturday, July 4, 2026.
This year, both communities will launch music-synchronized fireworks displays across Chautauqua Lake in partnership with Skylighters of New York and Kix Country.
Visitors in each community will be able to tune into Kix Country to hear patriotic music timed to their local fireworks show, creating a lake-wide celebration for America’s 250th anniversary.
As part of the celebration, Bemus Point is also expanding its traditional fireworks display into an extended 25 minute show!
We’ll be sharing additional details so make sure to mark yourself as “Interested” or “Going” on the official facebook event page and invite your friends!
