Fall is calling, and Bemus Point is ready to answer. Bemus Point Fall Fest returns Friday, September 18 through Sunday, September 20, 2026, for a full weekend of shopping, seasonal food and drinks, live music, family-friendly activities and classic fall fun along Chautauqua Lake.
Whether you are planning a Chautauqua County fall getaway, looking for things to do near Chautauqua Lake or simply ready for a crisp September weekend in Bemus Point, this annual festival offers plenty to explore throughout the village.
The Bemus Point Fall Fest Street Market will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM. More than 75 specialty vendors will be set up along Main Street, stretching from Lakeside Drive to the Bemus Point Golf Club & Tap House. The festival food area will be located in the Bus Garage lot on Main Street.
Visitors can shop locally made goods, original artwork, jewelry, pottery, apparel, home décor, natural skincare, candles, woodwork, baked goods, specialty foods and plenty of one-of-a-kind finds. Many vendors will be open on Friday in addition to Saturday and Sunday, making all three days a great time to shop.
Bemus Point shops will be open throughout Fall Fest weekend with new seasonal arrivals, unique gifts and special offers. At participating stores, shoppers can take part in the popular Draw-a-Leaf promotion and receive 5% to 50% off eligible purchases. Some exclusions may apply.
Participating Draw-a-Leaf locations include Alpacaville, Bemus Point Pottery, GI Threads, Petals & Twigs Gifts and Children’s Shoppe, Skillmans and The Ugly Peacock. Illustrious Order of Makesmiths and Lakeside Arts & Furniture will also be open for Fall Fest shopping but are not participating in Draw-a-Leaf discounts.
Come hungry. Restaurants and food vendors throughout Bemus Point will be serving fall menus, festival favorites and seasonal drinks all weekend long.
Bemus Point Inn Restaurant will feature a pumpkin waffle topped with whipped cream cheese, sliced banana and pecan praline sauce, plus an apple cider mimosa with cinnamon sugar. Bemus Point Market will serve Perry’s Cider Mill and Pumpkin Pie ice creams, along with Birdshack Chicken & Deli favorites including jumbo French toast-filled donut bites, popcorn chicken and corn dogs.
Coppola’s Pizzeria will have an outdoor tent serving pizza by the slice on Saturday and Sunday. Ellicottville Brewing on Chautauqua will launch its new fall menu for the weekend, and Guppy’s Restaurant & Tavern will serve Jägerschnitzel, pumpkin bread pudding, fall cocktails, seasonal beer and fresh maple fluff cotton candy. Visitors can also find burgers and hot dogs on the front porch at 14 Main and the See-Zurh House.
Around the village, Lake Life Café will offer fall-themed treats and drinks such as pumpkin spice lattes and hot caramel apple cider. Splash will serve Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martinis, Harvest Salad and other fall-inspired selections. The Green Door Tavern will have seasonal specials and its famous chicken wings, while The Happy Cow will offer ice cream sundaes, frozen yogurt, boba milk teas and refreshers. Guests can also enjoy waterfront dining at Trattoria Partenope on the Lake and festival favorites at The Village Casino.
Inside the Street Market, look for even more delicious options including barbecue, kettle corn, Italian ice, smoothies, baked goods, dirty sodas and other sweet and savory treats.
Fall Fest brings live music and entertainment to venues throughout Bemus Point. Here is the 2026 schedule:
The Beer Garden at Bemus Point Golf Club & Tap House will be open Friday through Sunday with seasonal craft beers, fall cocktail specials and outdoor entertainment for the whole family.
Saturday begins at Bemus Point Golf Club & Tap House with Sunshine & Strength HIIT with Jess at 9 AM, followed by Yoga & Brew at 10 AM.
From 1-5 PM, the Tap House will host the Southern Tier Classic Chevy Club Classic Car & Motorcycle Cruise-In. Admission is free, and visitors can browse the lineup of classic cars and motorcycles while enjoying the Fall Fest atmosphere. Mikey’s Famous Chicken BBQ begins at 1 PM and continues while supplies last.
Saturday evening, The Village Casino will hold its annual “Help Us Drink the Beer!” party with half-off select beers. On Sunday, the Tap House will wrap up the weekend with Bloody Marys & Burgers beginning at noon.
The Musky Mall on Alburtus Avenue will be a hub for family fun on Saturday and Sunday. The petting zoo will be open from 10 AM to 4 PM both days. Face Painting by Sprandle will also be available nearby at Lakeside Arts & Furniture on Saturday and Sunday.
Children can paint pumpkins for free at The Village Casino on Saturday and Sunday. Guppy’s Restaurant & Tavern will offer wooden pumpkin painting for kids throughout the weekend, along with fresh maple fluff cotton candy.
Fall Fest is a perfect opportunity to explore more of Bemus Point and its local history.
Fall Fest weekend is also the final opportunity of the 2026 season to ride the historic Bemus Point-Stow Ferry. The ferry will run Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 8 PM, with Sunday, September 20 marking its last operating day of the year.
Parking on Main Street will not be available during Street Market hours. Visitors are encouraged to park along Sunnyside Avenue, in the lots near the school and tennis courts, near Bemus Point Golf Club & Tap House or in the lot near The Village Casino.

The Ferry is one of the last cable-guided ferries in the country. Seven minutes across the narrows of Chautauqua Lake connecting two shores that have depended on each other for over two centuries.
For some people a ride on The Ferry is a generational memory. Something their grandparents did and their parents did and now they do with their kids on a summer afternoon. For others it is the first time and the seven minutes feel like stepping into a different era entirely.
Either way The Ferry is FREE 🆓
