Bridlepath Lake Resort

About Bridlepath Lake Resort

Bridlepath Lake Resort is a fully renovated 2,200 square foot retreat home on Chautauqua Lake in Bemus Point. The property sits at the end of a private road with 110 feet of lakefront, a sand beach, and large lawns on both the lake side and back of the house.

Originally built in the 1930s, the home has been completely updated with a coastal beach design while keeping the character of the original cottage. Inside, there are generous common areas including a kitchen, living room, sunroom, porch, and patio. Outside, the property includes a fire pit near the water, a long private pier with a 12 by 20 foot platform at the end, and docking space for up to two boats.

Despite the seclusion, the property is a short walk or quick drive from the shops, restaurants, golf, and activities of Bemus Point Village.

Bemus Point has a therapy alpaca farm. And yes, you can feed them. 🦙

Just outside the village, a small farm sits in the hills with owners who greet you like they have been expecting you. Suri alpacas, mini pigs, chickens, and a gift shop full of handmade fiber goods made right from the herd.

The farm is certified in animal assisted therapy and has welcomed school-aged children all the way through elderly visitors from across the region.
It is the kind of afternoon that works on everyone differently and leaves people quieter and happier than when they arrived.
