Bemus Point’s Fall Fest is September 17 – 19
Celebrate the changing of the seasons during Bemus Point’s Annual Fall Fest, September 17-19! This celebration of autumn will include a street market with vendors and sidewalk fare, a petting zoo, open houses, live music, seasonal food & drink specials at the restaurants, Draw-a-Leaf Discounts at the stores and more!
Around Town: Street Market
Take a stroll along Main Street during the Fall Fest Street Market on Saturday and Sunday from 10- 5 (some vendors will also be selling their wares from 10-5 on Friday!).
Visit specialty vendors selling their locally made goods, delicious fall treats and artwork. You’ll find our friends from Alpacaville, Ace Kettle Corn, Killa Kookies & Kream, Simply Wild Studios, Little Creek Maple Syrup, Red’s Blay Co, Stone & Outdoor Living Center, Tom’s Place, Sew Stinkin’ Cute, and more!
Live Music, Open Houses and Special Events
Enjoy live entertainment at the local restaurants, kicking off with the Porcelain Busdrivers, playing Friday at 5:30 PM at the Bemus Point Golf Club & Tap House. On Saturday bring your chairs to the Bemus Point Park for a performance from Uptown Fever beginning at 3PM, brought to you by Bemus Bay Water Toys.
Admire new displays at the Bemus Point Historical Society (Sat. from 11-3) and stock up on gear during at The Lawson Center’s open house (Sun. from 12-4). The Bemus Point United Methodist Church will also be celebrating Fall Fest in the village park with “Praise in the Park,” all are welcome to join on Sunday morning at 10AM.
Visit adoptable animals from the Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue at the Bemus Point Inn (Sat.). You can help support NCCR’s cause by entering to win a pet themed basket! Tickets for entry are just $5.
There will also be a Classic Car and Motorcycle Cruise-In at the Bemus Point Golf Club & Tap House on Saturday, from beginning at 2PM. This event is free to the public, bring your classic car or bike and meet some new friends and auto enthusiasts while enjoying music with Brian Chase.
Petting Zoo & Face Painting
Fall Fest isn’t complete without a visit to the petting zoo! A staple during Bemus Point events, the petting zoo features animals that people of all ages can enjoy. The petting zoo will be located acrossthe street from the Bemus Point Fire Hall on Saturday and Sunday from 11-4. Children will also be able to get their faces painted right next door at Lakeside Arts & Furniture, one of Bemus Point’s newest businesses!
Fall Food & Drink Specials at the Restaurants
Enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks at Bemus Point’s dining establishments. You’ll find delicious seasonal fall specials including the Bemus Point Inn’s pumpkin waffle topped with whipped cream cheese, sliced banana, and pecan praline sauce. Stop by Lake Life Café before visiting the Street Market and try a pumpkin spice latte (served hot, iced or frozen) or a homemade pumpkin scone.
Savor dishes like Guppy’s Tavern’s seared pork over spatzle topped with creamy mushroom gravy & garnished with crispy onions or Ellicottville Brewing on Chautauqua’s Bavarian soft pretzels served with beer cheese and a fall themed draft.
For dessert enjoy Perry’s ice cream from the Bemus Point Market, served in a ceramic coffee mug for just $4.99! They’re also having a Fall Fest special on pies, buy one – get one free.
Draw-a-Leaf Discounts: 5% – 50% Off!
An annual highlight of this event is the “Draw-a-Leaf” Discounts at the local retailers. This sale is a customer favorite! Items that are almost never discounted are included in this Fall Fest special. It’s the perfect time to save on that sweater, home accent, or gift that you’ve had your eye on.
Once you’ve finished shopping head to the check-out counter and draw from a jar of leaves, each marked with a discount between 5% and 50%. Shop at all of the stores and you might find yourself on a lucky streak! *
